What are we in for? What made them so good against y'all at home?

This. Their pitchers were on a different level than ours.

CC is a very disciplined team with good senior leadership. They were great at coming from behind to win games. They are a very resilient team .

They are excellent at getting on base … extending the pitch count, drawing walks, hit batsmen. And once on base, they are creative at getting them into scoring position, much like LSU in that regard.

They have a solid, veteran pitching staff,… starters and bullpen … very versatile group with depth. They have some pedigree, so I don’t believe the stage will be too big for them.

I believe LSU should be favored, but not by as much as most on the forum seem to believe.

If this mattered, TAMU would still be playing

Their pitching is legit lights out and they can smash the ball. It’s going to be hard for LSU to pull this one out.

They’re not an underdog story…they belong.

Great pitching. They manufacture runs. Their catcher will steal a bazillion strikes. You will have to beat them. They don't beat themselves. I have been extremely impressed watching them the last few weeks.

LSU is battle tested. Think LSU takes CC to the woodshed....No contest.

Their catcher can frame pitches very well. Better swing!

Maybe there’s an easy place to find this stat, but I would love to know how many stranded runners each pitching staff has left on …. because CC sure stranded a bunch in their regional.

I recall like 11 runners stranded over the two games with Auburn … a practice that CC replicated throughout the tournament.

Will be interesting to watch as LSU’s rainout helped keep Eyanson available and because Arkansas screwed the pooch? LSU will have their weekend starting rotation available. I think Coastal threw one of their weekend starters yesterday.

LSU has no reason to not win this series.

Yep, I agree …. LSU needs to be in the gas early and often. If they let CC hang around, they are a team that is completely comfortable with overcoming the deficit. And their pitching staff is experienced enough to do it.

This wasn't just from our game but a season chart. Their pitching is really good but I think this emphasizes how damn good their catcher is at framing. If they continue to get the plate called like this, I think they will be a very hard beat.

Eyanson was always going to be able to throw on Sunday. The only issue would have been if we had to play Arkansas again today.
