I don't know what the record is but that's pretty damn impressive, given that it includes the post season.

Postseason belongs to the Gamecocks with 22.

CC starting pitcher dominated and the announcers agreed he wasn’t even likely to be taken in the first round.

They have great pitching and they manufacture runs. They are a tough bunch.

The MLB is full of morons. I quit watching MLB in 2011.

In fairness, they are a really good team in a really shitty conference. Half the SEC would put up the same type of streak in that conference.

Such a good run they had. Holbrook really took a program with momentum and drove it right into the dirt. Much like smoke laval did at lsu.

Idk if that’s fair. Half the sec lost midweek games to sunbelt level teams. Winning that many in a row is tough. They played a handful of tough teams in that time. I think it’s more fair to say that coastal wouldn’t be on the streak they are on if they were in the SEC.

if they don't win on Wednesday - that 25 straight wins locked in focus might be hard to regain in Omaha -

Gamecocks had two 20+ game win streaks during the 50-6 (25-5) regular season in 2000 - 22 consecutive to open the season and a 21 game win streak that came to an end first weekend of May - USC finished 6-4 after that 21 game streak and surrendered a 1-0 Super series lead over ULL and missed Omaha -

5 H 7 Ks and a HR over 7.2 innings is not dominating. It was enough for his team to win. Oregon State gifted coastal a lot of runs and their offense fell flat in clutch situations.

Impressive if it was relevant. The discussion is one season; regular and post.

They have beaten some bad teams in that run, but they have also beaten some really good teams like Clemson and USM

The Sunbelt is probably the 4th best baseball conference
