A lot of classics
2007 Saban’s return
2008 OT at Baton rouge
2010 LSU
2011 9-6
2012 Yeldon screen
2019 46-41
2022 LSU goes for 2
Always a fun game to watch, especially from 2007-2015

The one a sitting US President was in attendance for

I don’t think it was the best but 9-6 is basically the originator of the national public perception of the matchup. That’s when it became “LSU/Bama” for a lot of people

As an LSU fan: 2019 because of the offensive star power on both sides and it snapped an UGLY losing streak. The Bama WR room was ridiculous.

2012 for me easily, because I was in the stands in a sea of LSU fans, and it was my last semester at Bama, and it was one of the best times ever.

Does the series still hold the NCAA record for most overtime games?

For me is 19. 22 is second
Yeldon screen is the most painful imo

As for the best, I'm still partial to 2011. 2019 was the best as an LSU fan because of all that came with it, but I think 9-6 was the best game.
2007, 2010, 2012 (gay), 2021 (extremely underrated) and 2022 were also great.
2008 had an all time moment with the blocked FG. That LSU team, led by that quarterback room, was not going to with that game, though.
2017 when Jamal Adams picked off hurts was likely the loudest single moment I've heard in TS history. 2018 Tua getting sacked/false started on the first possession is up there as well.

9-6. Greatest football game ever.

Still my favorite.

The 05 game was great as well. A lot of people don’t mention it because Shula was still the coach. There have been some really good ones and plenty where Bama just kicked our arse.

The NFL talent on that field was insane. Those guys were moving around much faster than almost any college football game you'll watch.

2010 was a good one. 2005 was a great game.

2005 was a great game but Bama fans won't talk about it because 1) Most of them were Florida or Auburn fans at the time. 2) the ones left have collective amnesia about anything that happened post Bear Bryant/pre Nick Saban.

Yes I was an LSU fan even during the rough years, unlike you who has spent more time being an Auburn fan than anything else.
I could never do that.

My favorite was 2012, screen to Yeldon. Showing my 47 years of age but the hardest defeat in the series for me was in 05. Undefeated and lost in OT.

2010 was such a nice clean game
No crazy narratives and it ultimately didn’t have national title implications, just a very good football game
