I mean Stoops is on borrowed time at this point, so it's not terribly shocking.
At this point, the quicker he makes it to the door and we can potentially bring in Sumrall.

Marrow was a huge part in whatever success UK has had the last decade. I'm not sure why UK stuck with Stoops for another year. They need to go get Summrall

This is horrible news for Kentucky
This dude was a beast on the recruiting trail. He outright won multiple recruiting battles over the last 7-8 years against teams like Michigan, OSU, PSU, and ND.

It's not great, he's a fantastic recruiter. But at the end of the day he was going to be gone when Stoops was let go (that's inevitably what's going to happen at this point). He wasn't going to stay for the next HC.

Doesn't make me sad. We go up against KY quite a bit on the recruiting trail, especially since we've started recruiting Ohio.

Everyone knows Stoops is about to get cooked again. The offensive line is a bunch of little league transfers and the QB they brought in is Calzada. Guessing he's just shoring up job security. Super fricked up though. He should have taken the head coaching job at Ohio when it was available

He turned down a similar job for UNC. Must've met Bill's crazy arse girlfriend.

He is on the decline. A high plateau for UK would be one thing but he is headed into Joker territory

KSR reporting this has been coming for a while. Some friction with Stoops over his role and conflicts with Eddie Gran. Evidently Gran was getting Stoops ear over the big dog.
Marrow has been friends with Brohm for a while. He tried to hire him at Purdue and when he first came to Louisville.
