I’m not making fun of Auburn as a whole I know what Coastal is capable of first hand. I’m making fun of one particular individual who always has a cross demeanour on this board!

RPI needs to die. It obviously overrates SEC teams because of generally tougher schedules. ( though it helps us) It’s a really lazy way to rank and seed teams.

CC scored 1 run against ECU’s 4th game pitchers in the regional final last week (only had 5 hits). They had 2 errors and a wild pitch against AU on Friday. AU had tons of base runners the whole game on Friday and just choked. CC struck out trying to bunt today, and loaded the bases with nobody out in an inning only to get 0 runs.
In 2 out of the last 3 games, they’ve been very fortunate to scratch out a win against relatively pedestrian playing teams (heck, even Stetson got 5 ERs off AU’s Dutton). Maybe they find some magic in Omaha, but they aren’t playing “damn good baseball” right now. They’re playing decent ball and the teams around them are folding. That works when the committee gives you a relatively easy path.

I hope this sends a message to everyone that you do not want to face a good Coastal Carolina team in the Super Regionals…. Ever…
