I would say 8th-12th

2024 class ranked #8 overall on 24/7
2025 class ranked #6 overall. We had 45 freaking commits in 2025.. that number looked weird until I remembered we have to replace half our team every year now....

Defense - good (not sure our weak spots on D)
O-line - no idea, but we haven't had a good o-line in a while have we?
QB - no idea, but could be good
RB - we always good there
TE- good
WRs - very very good
Kicker - best in the country!

We have some important question marks on the team. Coaching ability is one of them.

The talent evaluations are no longer noteworthy or even worth shitpaper considering the holes in the metric but we were ranked 18th the last two years.

I bet the new rankings arent out but I am guessing 12th

Not a lot of depth on the DL. Experience wise anyways. I think Crawford will be a stud and Autry can spell some guys, but they're both freshmen. Faulk is a stud and will be playing for his draft spot. Riddick is a tackling machine in the middle at LB and we've got some talented athletes on the outside coming off the edge. Secondary should be fine. Lots of youth, but they are talented. Interested to see if Champ Anthony can play how he was when he got hurt. He was playing good ball.

I find this question amusing because I barely feel like I’m able to keep up with our roster, much less how we rank among others even just in the SEC.

I know key guys on every SEC roster but it’s football and key guys can’t mask your weak position units unless you have Cam or Nick Fairley

Rankings have been inflated because of guys like Koy Moore and Holden Geriner. Our only real talent started coming in with Connor Lew, Faulk and the CB.

Our talent is concentrated at WR & DB not unlike the Malzahn days. The big boys win on the line of scrimmage.

Unlike the Malzahn days, I think we will be better on the OL. Still too young on the DL and LB to compete with UGA, UAT, or UTx.

I do think we have a better QB than UGA for the first time in a while.

I feel like half the Gus premiere recruits were ATHs without any clearly defined landing spot and we all thought - for too long - "oh well, our offensive genius head coach will be able to make something out of this raw electric talent."

I do think Hugh is balancing a bit more. I don't think Hugh has done a very good job utilizing the talent he's assembled thus far, but we'll see.

Seriously? We had some of the best defensive recruits in Auburn history under Gus. They were not Ath's. We certainly had some development issues under Malzahn but recruiting wasnt one of the outside of OL....

The number 1 player in the state and number 1 CB recruit last season was a QB. Offord. He played QB primarily in high school. He played corner sparingly.
