Ole Miss was the last team to make the tournament in 2022.
LSU pulled off multiple pitching miracles in 2023.
Tennessee broke the #1 curse in 2024.
Hmm...
Vanderbilt is the #1 seed and it isn't cursed anymore.
That's the best bet right now.
My 2nd best guess? Arkansas.

LSU has the best pitching staff in the country going into this tournament. The best 1 2 punch in anderson/Eyanson. We have 5 other arms that are great and reliable with 2 of them hitting 102 out of the pen in Hoover. It’ll come down to our bats this year

After Texas, I'm pulling for Arkansas. They put out for their baseball program - and in my mind, they deserve it.

This tends to happen with LSU baseball in the postseason. I wouldn't say its expected, but our players tend to elevate their game a bit during June.

Big Bro definitely got that wrong it was Vandy who got the covid benefit en route to the finals you are correct there but you mudholed us?
First game you won 2-1 where we had the tying runner on 3rd until Will Hodo grounded out in the 9th. The 2nd game we won 8-5 which was tied 5-5 going into the 9th. The 3rd game was tied 3-3 in the 9th and Texas but our coach fricking mind locked and pinch ran for Ivan Melendez after y'all hit him on a 3-2 pitch then after putting the pinch runner in did a sac bunt instead of stealing the base so given the free out y'all got out of your half of the inning with Will Hodo once again ending the threat with the runner on 3rd. In the bottom of the 9th after we hit your batter Lemonis put in a pinch runner and you stole 2nd base and got the single to win the game.
You did win the series 2-1 and congrats but given every game was within 1 run or tied in the 9th mudholes were not handed out.

Geaux Tigers has to be my number 1 pick but I don't think we can come out of the losers bracket this year.
Vandy & ArKansas tied at number 2.
I cant bring myself to cheer for Vandy because of the cursed whistler!
