What happened to Ole Miss and Miss St baseball?

Ever since they won the title they’ve gone to crap
Ole Miss looks awful and are about to get swept by OU

Our coach is the problem like State. They will fire their coach to their credit. He had one postseason with a horseshoe up his arse and that was it

Kinda odd that teams that have not won more recent titles than Miss State in 21 and Ole Miss Dumpster Progam in 22 are on here barking about them.

That CWS run was more favorable to Arkansas than any other run by playing opponents like Texas, Tech and Florida very recently in the earlier parts of the season. It also helped staying out of the losers bracket.

At a place like Arkansas, it is incredibly hard to win any title at the three major sports. While some programs make it look easy or easier.
It's why the foul ball was so devastating because you don't know if you ever get back to the CWS finals. It's pretty rare and has only happened twice in program history.

Apples and oranges. Bianco is an excellent coach and he has done an exemplary job at Ole Miss for a quarter century.
Lemonis guided us to a NC but the last four seasons he just has not been able to sustain it. The drop off in 2022 was to be expected but 2023/2025 there was no excuse for our poor play.
Ole Miss has been consistently good under Coach Bianco and I never understood why so many want to run him out of town.

Because once you win the title that’s all anyone cares about. Getting back to Omaha and getting another. The Super Regionals and Omaha trip before was fine, but now they know it can be done. Bianco has saved himself this year regardless of if we get swept by OU. He’ll have them at a 2 seed or even if the season falls apart, a 3 seed no one wants to see in their bracket.

Bianco's contract was last extended in '22, so he's got one more year on his contract (06/30/26). To say he's on the hot seat would be a severe understatement.
