That's all this is about. And, don't believe Nico is getting less money at UCLA. If you know anything about UCLA they have some filthy rich alums who if they want to pay the money they can.

According to his dad, it had nothing to do with money, and everything to do with offense.

I think it’s safe to say, you and this dudes dad are more full of shite than the Ganges River.

I know GD well he's not getting a 13.3% raise, to offset one state's income tax versus Tennessee having none

A single guy in southern Cal making a few million can survive.

Seriously, you really think Nico is going to go against his culture? The father in Samoan culture has the final say for his children until they are married and have their own family.

And it is not unheard of them to still live in their father's household even after they are married and have their own families. We're not talking the US nuclear family here.

I posted earlier today from Tony Basilio, the Knoxville talk show host, who said Nico's dad is utterly crazy, a control freak and a bully who controls every aspect of his kids' lives, and that Nico reverts to "Yes sir, boss" every time he's around his father.

I don't think Nico is totally innocent but you can't look at this through a traditional US family prism.

Similar to the Hispanic culture.ive never been to a Hispanics home and not seen at least one other family member living with a family consisting of the mom dad and kids. There's always a mother in law or father in law there. Sometimes it's the whole family tree in one house.
Especially the mexican immigrants

UCLA alums don’t care that much about football.

Sometimes things change. You could've said the same thing about Indiana alums before Cignetti. All you need is the right coach. Maybe DeShaun Foster is that guy for UCLA. We don't know but he's getting the most traction there since Mora got early in his tenure at UCLA.

I for one feel pretty comfortable saying Foster is not that guy

He had a top 25 talent composite team last year and missed making a bowl

Rookie coach coaching in the toughest conference in America. I believe he went 5-7. He coached better than expectations.
