Absolutely he and his daddy FAFO. They got way ahead of their skis as far as Nico's value and got scorched. Tennessee handled this just right.

Syracuse, UCLA, or Texas Tech are his likely landing spots. It will be interesting to see how much this actually hurts the Vols

9-3 is most likely assuming they have someone who can complete a forward pass. You can beat OU/Arkansas at home with bad/mediocre QB play. And State on the road.

That's got to sting I don't know if he was the cause of this, his agent, or his dad/family, but he needs better people around him to represent him and advise him. Sometimes athletes learn that the hard way, that you sometimes have to cut the ones you love out of your personal business, because they see those dollar signs too.

I understand your ire, Chad, but wanting to see him and by extension the athletes as a whole get their comeuppance, while tempting, isn't going to fix the problem. Neither is piling on somebody who does what they think they need to do to survive in the environment that's been thrust upon them. Besides, it's hard for there to be any ostracizing when 99% of the coaches in major college football have the same agent (that's grist for another discussion).
