Time to move on. At work this morning. Wife flying in at midnight from Vegas. Gonna be a looooooong day. It was a great season. Of course it did not end how we recently hoped. I do however remember the "what will make this season a sucessful one" and Final 4 was on 95% of the peoples post

I think Broome being injured late in the run hurt us. We leaned on him andhe just could not go. Florida put some major pressure and bodies on him yeserday and it was a great plan. It worked. Not enough of the other guys stepped up

In the Tony Barbee era I would have killed for this. I think Bruce has another final 4 run in him before it's over and next time we'll finish

You can’t spend like 8 weeks ranked #1, with most of those weeks unanimous, have double digit wins against Q1 opponents, and be the top seed overall in the NCAA Tournament and consider anything less than the National Championship to be satisfying.

At the same time, you can’t really win your regular season conference championship and make the Final Four and consider the season a failure (especially when you have Auburn’s 100+ year pre-Bruce basketball history).

I’m proud of these guys, but at the same time have to acknowledge they fail short of what they were capable of accomplishing.

I woke up and felt a little sad. Mostly sad for the guys and Bruce & co.

Life moves on though. Wife is 38 weeks pregnant so we’re getting prepped for the new baby.

Really tough game. I’m 0 for 2 in Final 4 games. Still wouldn’t trade it. War Damn.

Seeing Duke go down def eased the immediate pain. Not that I was anti Duke, just in the madness, the best team doesn’t always win, and in this final four there were four ‘best’ teams. Those 4 play each other 10 times, and I bet they all finish close to .500.

This morning, watching our guys on all the post game vids broke my heart for them. I want to celebrate this team - they deserve it, and I’m not gonna be upset about last night anymore.

What a great ride, god bless our team and WDE.

Same bubba. Wife is 37 weeks. Which number is this for y’all? It’s number two for us and we’ll have one of each.

Same.

No Cinderellas this year with all number one seeds making it to the final four.

It would be neat if Bruce took an AU underdog Cinderella team all the way. He said he is like a number 12 seed guy.

So doesn’t matter, had segs? Seriously guys, what an awesome life changing moment for your wives and you! We had our kids in 2010 and 2013 which were awesome football years and we will always cherish that. You got to experience a second final four season with some beautiful family memories. Congratulations!!!

I am still bothered by how we shrunk in the second half.

It was a great season. As Auburn fans we needed it. I just hate that we missed a golden opportunity at all-time greatness.
