Cats had King / Kong / Silk / Steel
Hogs had The Triplets
The old dog food dome has been torn down but that may have been my favorite Final Four. Now it is HUGE venues and CORPORATE fans but the passion in St Louis was far better!

It was a great tournament. The Hogs took down some Blue Bloods along the way beating Kansas and UCLA.
UK v Ark was a fantastic semi final, remember being more nervous for that one than our final against Duke.

That era kicked off Arkansas basketball. I was in school up there at the time and football was doing pretty good as well. It’s funny but no one even thought about baseball.
