Geography mean anything to the committee?

Yeah. They’re not going to stick Alabama in Auburn’s region.

I haven't looked at these brackets yet but it seems it would be pretty hard with 13 or 14 SEC teams to have the top 4 SEC teams in different regions and to also follow the guidance that 2 conference teams that played each other twice this season can't meet before the Sweet 16 and if they played each other three times they can't meet before the Elite 8.

The #1 overall seed gets one of the lower ranked 2 seeds. They also give them a home court advantage. You aren’t going to see Tennessee or alabama in the same bracket as Auburn.

I’d almost rather the Vols lose today and be ticketed for Indy than win and be ticketed for San Fran

They are also wanting to avoid having 1 and 2 seeds from the same conference, as much as possible. I'd personally love being in Duke's bracket.

Tell is you know nothing about the seeding process without saying it explicitly

It's a two hour flight I think they'll be ok

Whoever gets Duke gets the weakest 1 seed. They are a good team, but haven't played a meaningful game since Auburn.

UF/Vols winner = West #1
loser = Midwest #2
loser = Midwest #2

Doing that would open up the possibility of the Final Four being the semifinals of the SEC Tournament all over again. How great would that be?

Oklahoma best us. They should totally get the 9 and punish us with the 10.

Tennessee is not getting a 1 seed. It's Auburn and Florida. Today's outcome doesn't matter to 1 seed status
