"The have lost 3 out of their last 4 and are only 8-4 since the start of February. Hard to put them ahead of Tennessee and Florida

AU do have a lot of quad 1 wins though, so their sluggish end of season probably won't get emotional kicked off the one line. But they should be.

AU resume greater than everyone except maybe Florida. Ultimately, doesn’t matter. Have to win 6 in a row regardless.

Auburn won 16 quad 1 games and the Conference Championship in the most difficult conference in college basketball history.
The committee isn’t punishing them for easing off the gas at the end of the season after the gauntlet they went through and conquered.
They are the unanimous #1 overall seed.

I could see an argument for not #1 overall, laughable to suggest not a #1 seed. Personally, I don't care as long as we get the Atlanta bracket.

Their non-conference is in the 200's. They're not getting shite but the last #1.

The top around 10 seed lines are picked before conference tournaments are played. The conference tournaments only matter to bubble teams and bid stealers.

I think Auburn gets Atlanta since they were regular season SEC champs which the committee gives a lot of weight to.

I seem to recall it not mattering for us. However, If there’s ever a year for it to matter it’s this one but then again the same arguments apply to the tourney. The SEC is ridiculous this year.
That said I don’t think q1 is paying off like it probably should. Q2 wins are stacking better than playing more Q1s and losing a few.

If Duke gets the 1 overall it will be in the East. AU will still get the South. Could care less.
