Let's roll.

The guys played well last night and didn't do anything stupid.

Was late in the game until we had our first TO. Our pressure was forcing UK into a lot of turnovers.

I think Florida is really good, but getting just a little too much hype. We didn't play well against them, and they got every single loose ball and most of the rebounds last game. I know people like to say it was lack of effort, on Bama's part, but I was watching closely and a LOT of it was just bad luck.
Basically, I don't think Florida can replicate that game. They can beat us, sure. But, I don't think they will.

If you include last night Jarin is hitting 44% of his 3s in conference play

We’ve just got to play a lot tougher this time around. Our 4s and 5s need to be bullies in this game like they’ve shown they can be in a lot of games this year.

I've been very pleased to see your our bigs have played in the last several games. All 3 guys that'll cover the 5 have been playing their best all year.

UF's bigs hurt us last time, but I still think Clayton is the key. Limit him and do just a smidge better vs their bigs, and we play for a championship tomorrow.

While the bad luck from that game is completely true, FL shot horrendous from 3 and FTs (prior to intentional fouls at the end). Not sure they will shoot that poorly again, so we have to earn it on the glass. Keep rebounds close to even and don’t turn the ball over and we’ll have a chance. I think we’re a bit better conditioned, so hoping that shows up late in the 2nd half.

They shot 30% from 3. Their season average is 35%.
They shot 72% from the free throw line. Their season average is 71%.
They could have shot better, but neither of those are some crazy anomaly.

Stinks that our game is going to occur during a major severe weather outbreak across Alabama. Not sure that I’ll get to watch much of the game.

Clayton is so damn quick and hard to guard, and he can shoot. Limiting him is indeed the key to victory.

5% diff on 3s is huge (and it rounded to 30% but was 29.6%…anything with a 2 handle is bad). Grant would be a completely different threat if he was 5% higher on 3s.
They were closer to 60% from the line before we started intentionally fouling their best FT shooters at the end. They made 12 FTs in the last 1:23 of game time.

Lunardi just said the Florida Bama winner will get the west 1 seed

It's less than 5 points on the volume they shot. So, yeah, it matters. But, my point is, that's not some terrible shooting night that was an unusual stat. In fact, if both teams had shot their averages from 3 and FT's, it would have basically been a wash.
Edit* actually my quick math estimates in my head were a little off there on the bold part. But, I don't think we got especially lucky with how UF played last game. That's my only point. They could have shot better, but we could have done a lot of things better as well.

I was mainly just pointing out that other than rebounds and ally oops, FL didn’t play all that well either. Both teams had room to improve, so we will have to improve enough to get even with them and hope they don’t improve on their items if we are going to win. People were acting like FL played their best game, but they really didn’t, at all, other than rebounding.
