UK is def a live and die by the 3. So far it's helped us survive. These are the type of teams that get hot in the tourney and make runs. We certainly can't rely on our defense. Might literally be the worst defense of my lifetime.

We rely on teams shooting the 3 bc they are “open” and give up driving. When a team gets hot, we can get smoked. But if they remotely struggle, game on.

Nah. If anything, Alabama beat themselves in the first matchup with anomalously poor shooting.
Here's a thought for you: in the game on Saturday, Alabama's best player scored only 7 points, 2 of which were scored as time expired, and yet Alabama managed to win the game. Meanwhile, Auburn's best player scored 34 points, and yet Auburn managed to lose. Hmmm...

Well yeah. The premise is betting you will have one off night shooting from outside in the NCAA tournament because nothing else matters.
So far for Bama last year was your best year but that was one year out of how many? and you still didnt win it all with an easy path due to upsets.
I would say the premise is correct u til hou are consistent at making FF or better.
Just from a common sense stand point layuos are easier to make than 3s
