I think most of us are thanking Georgia right now. Terry should be gone this offseason, but unfortunately everyone is robbed of seeing Tre Johnson in the tournament.

It’s an interesting question..
1) Final 8 with SEC Championship
or
2) Final 4
In hindsight, it’s a tough decision, but until the semifinals are played, I’m taking Option 2 all day long.. I wish it wasn’t that way and that the SEC Championship was still the Holy Grail, but that’s where we are imo..

You mean it has been 3 years since Georgia won a natty and 4 years since Georgia won 2.
Meanwhile, Texas hasn't been relevant for 20 years now.

Texas bball fans are in a weird spot where they have to root for their team to lose so that the basketball program can be put back into a competitive mode. Texas did the right thing (politically correct thing you could argue) and got rid of a high profile coach... who, lets be honest, would have continued coaching at most of the other programs in this conference.
So Texas fans are thanking Georgia for helping cement our ability to say goodbye to the stop-gap that the bball program has been in... doing the "right thing" has had the program down for 2 years.
I wouldn't celebrate too much though bc youre going to regret it pretty quick... Texas bball is now in a position where they can politely fire Terry and is going to make a splash hire. Texas will be top 1-3 teams in the conference in bball within 1-2 years, WATCH
On a side note... it is so weird to see Georgia fans constantly using Texas as their barometer for their program. You would think Georgia would be above that mid-level stuff. But theres apparently a bit of aggie built into the Georgia fan-base. Texas is all Georgia posters want to talk about... weird
