Senseless accident. Looks like the driver of the motorcycle was going reckless and caused the accident. Terrible.

LSU issued a statement to students saying officers are working a major traffic crash at the intersection and to avoid the area, and officials confirmed two fatalities as a result of the crash. The two vehicles involved were a motorcycle and car. Sources told WBRZ that the crash happened when a motorcycle was traveling north on Nicholson t-boned a vehicle making a left turn on South Quad. The collision then caused a fire that consumed both vehicles. LSU Police attempted to put out the fire before firefighters extinguished the fire. Sources also said that both drivers likely died or at least became unconscious immediately.

On campus...crazy. The motorcycle must have been flying acting like a fool. This poor girl...must have hit in the worst spot...don't hear motorcycle wrecks killing car occupants too often. Just a parent's worst nightmare. Prayers for the family.

There's a dash cam from a car sitting at the intersection and the crash ends of right at their bumper. Wouldn't recommend watching it. It's a fiery crash and you can make out the body of a surely dead at that point motorcycle rider flipping over the top of the car out of the fireball.

Crazy that the motorcycle driver’s mother was killed in a motorcycle accident a year prior.

This is indeed terrible, and in no way am I making light of it. However, from the post title, I was thinking that she died while vaulting.

Linking that vid might actually be a bannable offense, because it looks like the fuel from the gas tank of the motorcycle followed the motorcyclists body over the car.
He almost split that car in half, and he burned hotter than the car.

Not that it matters, but she had a red light, not sure why she ran it to turn left and he had a green light going straight.
