What's wrong with Kansas this year? Back around New Year's day they were being tabbed as Final Four, maybe NC for sure. Now they're having trouble beating COLORADO at home!

Don’t worry. He’s probably got heroine needles in his arm right about now.

We beat the shite out of them, that's the main thing that happened.

kU "tabbed" by lazy media types that don't pay attention to actual performance. They are not good and don't belong in the Top 25.
NIL has destroyed the cheating, so now they are simply a small little college, in the dump known as the state of kansas.

Gayturds? How is that? I know it's a little politically incorrect, but that's okay if we're talking about the school from a state that nobody would ever dream of taking a vacation to.

Soft team, their 7ft center plays like he's 6'2 and they have a starting pg who's scared to shoot.

Tell me you know nothing about Missouri without telling me you know nothing about Missouri. Meth is only a thing in trailer park country in Missouri. Keep reading, keep learning.

Lol, I've been to Columbia numerous times. It's a shite city, slightly better than St.Louis.

Probably why he does the sickening things he does because drugs have ruined his mind and makes him do terrible things to others.

That's the thing......we have a really good analysis of NIL and modern day roster building if we look at the current Kansas and Mizzou teams. If you go back to pre-season and look at just the rosters of the two programs, it is easy to see why Kansas was so highly ranked. On paper, that is a much more talented (and more expensive) roster than what Mizzou put together. The truth is Mizzou's portal additions weren't flashy or super star type players. The big difference, and an important measure of a coaching staff in the modern college game, is how those two rosters were assembled. The pieces have to fit and make sense. You can have all the star power you want, but if the pieces can't work together as a whole the team will struggle.
Gates and crew did a great job assembling their roster. That is maybe the biggest takeaway from his coaching this year, and he's done plenty of good things that have his name being considered for SEC COTY. After last season, it is good to see Mizzou fans having this team to cheer for.
I also think that this reality underscores how fans may have to change their short term outlook as long as NIL and the portal are in the current form. It doesn't take much for good/great coaches to miss on a roster now. You can't hide it quite as well in basketball. Folks may have to show a little bit of restraint with the pitchforks compared to past eras.

And I've been to Baton Rouge. It's an industrial wasteland in many parts.
But I love New Orleans despite its bad neighborhoods. And I love STL despite its bad neighborhoods. The rest of both cites are fun and have stable, safe neighborhoods, and fine entertainment, cultural and dining spots. Every big city has issues. You gotta learn where they are and develop street smarts.
I guess you're not cut out for surviving the "mean streets" of big cities like hundreds of millions of other Americans who enjoy all that big cities have to offer. Living in the sticks is for hicks.
