I’ll go. Auburn currently sits at 22-3 with 7 games remaining:

@ Alabama
Arkansas
Georgia
Ole Miss
@ Kentucky
@ Texas A&M
Alabama

I think we are locked in now as a 5-seed or better and can finish as high as the #1 overall seed.

22-9: 5-seed
23-8: 4-seed
24-7: 3-seed
25-6: 2-seed
26-5 or better: 1-seed

Basically we need to finish 3-4 or better in these final 7 games to lock up a 1-seed.

I think we need to have no more than 1 extra loss compared to Duke to ensure we are seeded ahead of them. They have 3 losses, so assuming they finish 28-3, we need to go 27-4 to ensure we’re seeded in front of them.

I think we need to split with Bama and finish with the same record or better to be seeded ahead of Alabama. They are currently 21-3. If they were to split with us and win all other games, we’d need to finish 27-4 or better to be seeded ahead.

Basically a 5-2 finish likely locks us as the #1 overall seed as long as both those losses don’t come against Bama.

Lose out : 21-10 (10-8) --- #10 NET, #8 WAB, #2 seed

Win out : 28-3 (17-1) --- #5 NET (lol), #1 WAB, #1 seed (#1 ovr)

In reality, if we lose out we'd probably be a #3/4 seed. We'd still have 21 overall wins, 8 Q1 wins, 15 Q1/2 wins and 0 losses outside of Q1.

I think if we finish 3-4 or better down the stretch (24-7 (13-5)) we're in good shape to get a 1 seed. 2-5 (23-8 (12-6)) and we probably slip to a 2 seed.

Likely in between.

Crazy schedule.

Im not going to think too hard but if we win out(which would include AU and UF aka not happening) I think we could move up to 7. If we lose out we are toast. Win a couple and I think we slide in first four

I think State’s absolute best case is they catch fire, finish 11-7 or 10-8, and end up a 5 or 6 seed.

Worse case is you could fall to the Firsr Four or miss the tournament. You’re pretty much on the 7 or 8 seed line now. That’s some wiggle room but not a ton. And this team has lost 6 of 9, and may only be favored in two games the rest of year.

Is 7-11 enough to get State in? Maybe? But that’s gonna be sweating it.

We are headed for a likely 3 seed. We shoot free throws like a 10 seed. Dangerous but free throw shooting is going to cost us at some point. We give up a ton of points on missed FTs.

State. Dropping game to game. Whether a 1 (just joking) or #16 they won’t be playing past two games.
