The end of the season SEC had 7 ranked teams and the B1G had 5. This 'domination' is a joke. There is no domination until the B1G does what the SEC did over a decade. Case closed. End of conversation.

No conference has ever owned CFB. This is a myth created by ESPN & talking heads like Paul Finebaum.
Individual teams, traditional powerhouse teams that play in a said conference have a chance at a Natty. That's what should be stated.
The whole "rooting for a conference" thing is stupid.

The B1G has always owned it.
It's why the media has been so mad about the SEC dominance.
It's why any time the SEC has multiple teams in playoffs of championships and immediately rule or format change occurs to "combat" this.
It's why the committee was led by the B1G who cherry picked what they valued in order to keep B1G teams which played no one highly ranked in order to secure their conference more playoff spots and more financially lucrative home games.
Our commissioner is basically thr B1Gs bitch. He sabotaged his own top teams (UGA, Alabama) and gave a free run to Texas and unlimited officiating home help to aid his other darling tennessee.
The SEC is absolutely owned by B1G and we need to change our commissioner as a first step to combat against this

They, in particular OSU, rented it for a bit.

The Big 10 the flavor of the month, still looking at SEC having 6 of the last 10 national titles compared to the big 10 and ACC each having 2.

Find a rating system that has the B1G over the SEC this year. So far every one I have seen has the SEC #1.

I'm not listening to Paul because he's dumb.
The old conversation was that the SEC was the best FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
Is that true now? No because for the past 2 years the SEC has not won the NC, so they can't be the best from top to bottom.
Is any other conference doing that now? frick no and it's not even close. The Big10 has like 4 teams, the rest suck.
When an SEC team wins the championship next year will the SEC be the best top to bottom again? Yes.
All these dumb people are talking about is who won the latest NC.

Just to drive viewers, talk about something shocking, blah, blah, blah.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but the current SEC schools have, what, 17 college football championships since the BCS era started, including four of the last six (through three different teams)
Big Ten - 5
ACC - 5
Big 12 - 0

The B1G had 6 teams with losing records. That's a third of the conference. The B1G is very top heavy. They had another 7 teams win less than 9 games and only 5 teams with 9 or more wins. For comparison, the SEC had 8 teams with 9 or more wins. 4 teams with 7-8 wins and only 4 teams with losing records.

B1G and SEC are joined at the hip plus the state of Texas.
Has it become the Triple A league for the NFL...yes.
But we will still watch and enjoy because we love college football.
Has it changed from when we first fell in love with it...yes
Hell, I am old enough to remember when every kick off was at 1:00 on a Saturday and no stadium had lights...before you add a comment...yes we had cars back then...lol.
But no one conference owns college football it will always be the B1G and SEC who absorb everyone else into their confrences.

UGA would've beat Michigan and won the chip last season had they not been screwed out of the playoff for losing the SEC championship game (their only loss). tOSU was a fantastic team this season and clearly deserving of the championship....Michigan not so much. They couldn't throw the ball and somehow won a championship.

SEC. Better coaches, better high school talent in the region, partnership with ESPN
I’m happy for the Big 10 that they got to win a couple.
