Best game to open up the day.
But the night games are all rivalries. The basketball version of the egg bowl is gonna be great!

Of our first 9 league games, 6 are against teams in the top 7 of the standings with most on the road. Brutal. Good news is that if we can kinda sorta maybe come out of that not totally dead we could make some decent strides with the back half schedule.

AU vs. UGA will come down to whether our bigs can keep out of early foul trouble and if the refs end up dictating the flow of the game too much.
Interested to see how we play in this one.

Side note, and maybe some Arky fans will appreciate this (likely they won't), but we had a basketball camp a few years back for local high school kids, and two of the coaches present were Nolan Richardson and Norm Stewart.
But I am sure the kids believe they were two old guys that didn't know anything about the game, cuz kids are dumb.

Yep. If we get into foul trouble and Asa gets going we are in for it.
UGA is a very good home team and a very tough matchup for us. I suspect we’re going to look very human today.

Auburn better box out on the boards, we are very good at offensive rebounds with our size in the back court. With Broome out, we might have a chance if we hit some baskets and don’t implode behind the arc. I expect this to be a physical game, hope the refs let them play a little but don’t let it get out of control, or the 2nd half will be a shot show.
