the money you spend on cost of attendance and NIL collectives?
the time you spend at events supporting your team?

Think of what you could do with that extra money in your pocket.

Take a nice vacation.
Spend quality time with family.
Actually get work done at work.
Not stress about today's game.
Not consuming as much alcohol.
Not waking up at 3 am and posting on the SEC Rant.

Follow FCS, assuming they don’t implode like the P4 Teams

Good day. Outside of 3AM posting, I already do this...

Take a nice vacation.
Spend quality time with family.
Actually get work done at work.
Not stress about today's game.
Not consuming as much alcohol.
Not waking up at 3 am and posting on the SEC Rant.

College Sports were ruined once O'Bannon v. NCAA was settled. NIL was next step and here we are...

There will be a new equilibrium. If it goes back to amateur level and regional, I'll still enjoy it.

Building a barn-do on 50 acres in my hometown.
I restore classic cars as a hobby and plan to retire
and do a couple in that shop.

I'll have Tom Petty playing on Sirius. That's all I need.

And beer, I need beer

College athletics aren't going to implode, so I guess I won't change a thing.

NIL and the Portal (or lack thereof) are fantastic. No more Bama and Ohio State stockpiling a 3-deep roster of NFL players.

I'm not surprised that the most complaining I've seen about the current system is from the "elites" of CFB.

Yes, and they invested heavily in it.

Meanwhile, back in reality there are 2 bluebloods in the NCG and the recruiting/transfer rankings haven't really changed at all.

3 out of final 4 were blue bloods and Penn St isn't far off from being one.

The top teams you mention take in more than they lose. 15 years ago everyone was crying about the turnover at Alabama, now suddenly stupid people like you are citing it as the end for such teams.

College football is on a downhill slide It will be slow and relatively painless. The glory days are over.

I still follow but I’ve given up on keeping up with recruiting like I once did. It’s obvious the current state isn’t sustainable. I’d miss it but I’d be far more productive in the fall.

I mean you can’t do much with $50 these days.
