After all, 2019 LDU necessitated an onside kick recovery to escape with a narrow victory over a meh Auburn team that was subsequently dismantled by Minnesota.
Obviously, 2010 Auburn was vastly superior to the 2019 team and thus, Cam would come dangerously close to hanging half a Benjamin on 2019 LSU.
The final score would fall somewhere along the lines of 42-28 or 42-13. The outcome would be as ugly as stealing money from a children's hospital.

AU fans’ back In 2019 reasoning that Cam was better or had a better season than Burrow is that Burrow was surrounded by playmakers. Cam had himself and a group or WRs that wouldn’t go on to do much at all.

I don't disagree that 2019 LSU would beat 2010 AU. Hell, 2019 LSU was on a tear in the last part of the season and might have beaten 1994 Nebraska.
But- THAT is your reasoning? Y'all beat AU 23-20 at home that year. So- what does that say using the same metrics?

While I don’t question that 2019 LSU was one of if not the best team(s) assembled in the modern era of college football, let’s look at this a little closer.
It’s 2019. LSU has one of the best teams ever assembled. Meanwhile Auburn has a true freshman QB, a coach on the rocks and hasn’t won in your stadium since 1999.
LSU very clearly dominates lowly Auburn right? The record books say that Auburn was the closest game LSU had all season. Closer than Bama, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, or Clemson
Now if you were to somehow take Cam Newton from his heisman season and thrust him into QB1 of 2019 Auburn, Auburn likely beats 2019 LSU. However, if you were to entirely replace 2019 Auburn with the 2010 team, LSU likely destroys us in 2019.
Long story short, no… no 2010 Auburn wouldn’t
