Also noteworthy:

In just 12 SEC seasons, Mizzou has two SEC championship appearances, four 10-win seasons, and has established its own junior program (Arkansas).

Texas A&M, who was supposed to be the prize in the 2012 expansion has 0 SEC championship game appearances, 1 10-win season, and has spent an embarrassing amount of money to try to buy their way to the top.

And most recently, LSU fans have expressed a desire on this board to upgrade their "rivals" (Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas A&M) by replacing one or all of them with Mizzou.

Discuss.

The lengths Mizzou fans will go to because their last and only title was baseball in the 1950s.

But hey, you have more historical success than A&M, so hold your head up high.

Are you including Ga Tech and Tulane or South Carolina and Arkansas?

Why are you using us in your troll? Are you arguing LSU should be your rival instead of ours? Okay lol just ask them, don’t sneak diss us.

Original what, South Carolina is still a worthless outsider ACC team like Mizzou.

Arkansas is the only expansion team that seems to grafted on well to the SEC

It’s been over fifty years since last co-conference championship. Zero bowl championship series games, zero college playoff games and your “close” conference championship games were three score games. All time barely over .500. Zero national player of year awards; Heisman ect.

So? You guys keep this preaching that there should never be parity in football, and only praise and glorify blue bloods. Good grief.

Luckily, LSU fans are not monolithic. Quite the contrary.

Missouri is the only program never to win an sec championship in football, baseball or basketball. Obviously not including the newbies (texass and boomer).

I have no doubt OU and Texas will win a meaningful conference championship before Missouri. Missouri is easily the most dispensable program in the conference.

Again I ponder...why is a kansas fan so enamored with Mizzou? Secondly why are you on SEC Boards? Lastly...none of the elite conferences want you. Getting nervous?

Not entirely correct.

They have unclaimed National Championships from 1960 & 2007. In 1960 they finished the season at 11-0, were 7-0 in the Big 8, and beat Navy in the Orange Bowl.
