Will NIL take down SEC dominance?

It's not like other programs don't have access to big money now that everything is wide open. Recruiting has always had a cash play to it under the table, let's not fool ourselves. Nor am I saying Harvard with probably more millionaires in their student body is going to all the sudden become a national power.
Think about a GA Tech type...just as an example....as if they don't have multi-millionaires with the ability to pay for play that graduated from there / support that program. North Carolina another example.
CFB is caught between an NFL model and Amateur Athletics. Truly no man's land with almost zero rules for recruiting at this point. Now that it's out in the open with players getting dollar bills, CFB has become the wild, wild west. Does this even the playing field vs. SEC dominance over the years?

The gigantic black population in the South will keep the SEC on top more years than not.

Before NIL, only one school was ever caught and verified in court to have paid six figures for a player. (Hint - it wasn't Auburn.) Everyone else got caught for everything from boxes of frozen steaks to cosigning on small bank loans to $1k-$10k here and there. $100 handshakes abounded, but even the wildest stories I have gotten from first hand benefit recipients over the decades - that one school aside - would not touch what NIL at a school like Texas or OSU pays today for elite talent.
The SEC as a whole does not have the donor depth and breadth to compete with much of the rest of the country. For every Drummond Coal and Yellawood old Big Six SEC schools can produce, Michigan has 10 guys in the same order of magnitude of wealth, and Texas and USCw probably have 15-20. Stanford, should they choose to push it, has 30 guys like that.
Unless something changes, CFB is going to undergo a considerable shift of power over the next 5-10 years.

The players coming to the SEC are about the dollar 1st and winning is secondary. You're seeing the issue today.

We will continue to fill up the giant football stadiums.
We will continue to sell out the hotels on gameday and buy up all the beer and bbq.
There are businesses in the south who make a living on 7 home games.
Oregon's(rich program throwing around nil money)stadium seats 54,000. Miss state's seats over 60.000(small SEC stadium) and sells out every game.
We the SEC, baws.
Y'all act like it.

SEC is still top to bottom the best conference by far. Not even close really.
We just didn’t have an elite team this year.
Assuming Texas loses, every SEC team will finish with at least 3 losses.
The Big Ten has top tier but also their top get to play a whole lot of garbage teams.

PSU claims the most CEOs in the country as well so they’re a factor. The other obvious thing and maybe even bigger is transfer portal. Bama and UGA could stockpile talent and put them on Special teams, develop a few years, then replace all the guys going to the NFL with these future 1st rounders. That’s not gonna work so much now bc those guys on special teams can move and play right away and make nice money doing it. I still think SEC can be the best conf but you’ll probably never see that dominance ever again. End of an era but great run

Oklahoma is an undisputed blue blood but they don't belong in the SEC. There never should have been expansion beyond Arkansas and USCe.

Kentucky is a charter member and culturally as southern as it gets. You talk about destroying the SEC, being disloyal to a charter member will do it quicker than anything else.

injuries and players opting out were far more harmful to the SEC's post-season this year than NIL for teams outside the SEC -
this league will always have the most - best talent -
the SEC was 6-4 in non-CFP games - its biggest threat - the big2t9en was 5-3 in non-CFP bowls ...it was the 4 loses by 1, 3, 4, 4 points that has allowed a false narrative to parroted by outsiders - none of those 4 teams had the regular season contributors playing in the bowl games -
