Shot terribly and got outrebounded by double digits.

Cam Matthews is underrated. Also, we may only go .500 in conference because the league is that good, but at least this year we have other scorers when Josh isn’t feeling it.

This conference is unbelievable with 6 teams that could get to a final four

Man, this feels even sweeter knowing I stuck it out during the Rick Ray years

Big, fast, physical and SMART. Jans brought in a group of guys that play really well together and are absolute dawgs. Can tell they are all on the same page. Fun to watch.

I don’t care if you have to rename it Jansville you gotta do what it takes to keep him.

A phoenix rising from the ashes! That stretch was so brutal, it truly was hard to imagine us recovering from that.

Butler caught fire and probably could have underhanded threes all game. But that was also where it clicked that you have to play hard defense every game.

Honestly this is our best team since 2004. We are good at all aspects of the game from defense, free throws, 3 pt shooting and in the paint. It’s a compete team

We would destroy Butler today. We just didn’t have it rolling yet, especially defensively. And they got hot. This year we have eight or more people who are a double digit threat. Long guards and forwards that can handle the ball. We can struggle on D against a large lineup but have been improving there. We have a 7 footer that needs to come along when we need him to help against those bigger lineups. Offensive rebounding has been great. We are a much more up tempo offense than we were with Tolu Smith at center.

Dwayne Wade fed the team rat poison the night before that game. The defensive effort wasn’t there, and didn’t help that Butler was on fire the whole game.

Butler played really well and State did not.

The other good thing about this team is Hubbard has not really lit up the scoreboard so far this year and we are still winning.
He is still the best player on the team but he is not under the pressure to do it all himself.
I have no doubt he will win us some games late because that is the kind of player he is.
