Doing the math it's highly probable that several fans of both teams were injured or killed. Prayers for all affected.

No love for the Domers?
Seriously though, I was in the Big easy about 6 years ago for the Sugar Bowl and it's sad we even need to consider something like this can happen. T&P to anyone involved in that incident..that should never happen in the U.S.

I’m in town and everyone’s re-thinking their plan today.
No one wants to revel with that tragedy unfolding, or be anywhere near it.
Prices continue to plummet. My 300-level tix are listed on Ticketmaster for 30% of face as of this morning.

Just tragic. Prayers for so many innocent people.
I was there last year, and have been going to The Big Easy off and on for the last 40 years.
My only "bad" experience was giving a kid $5 'cause "you got yo shoes on yo feet on Bourbon Street, New Orleans, Louisiana." And the first time I drank a Guinness... thought I grabbed a spit bottle by mistake.
So sad that so many lives were changed forever.

We were awakened around 4 am by hotel employees beating on the doors telling us to leave the hotel (Royal Sonesta). Went to the lobby and it was full of sleepy folks in a near mass panic. Hotel handled it pretty well….apparently there’s was and is some indication that there are suspected IEDs all over the quarter. It’s pretty surreal to be right in the center of a crime scene investigation where 10 people were murdered.

A couple of my co-workers are down there.
One was a couple blocks away but in his hotel room with family.

Prayers for the families of those who were killed and for those who were injured. I hope all of our posters on this board who were in the area are safe.
