If we had the Boise qb or the Penn St qb ....it's unbelievable how bad Milroe is.

No doubt. Makes you wonder why ESPN had been gaslighting people into thinking that he was a first round pick earlier in the season.

Pro teams make stupid early picks every year.

They don't actually watch the games.

The stats last year looked fine on paper- they did not take into consideration how Milroe just bombs (and bombs badly) entire quarters at a time even when he's "playing well". The only thing anyone remembers about the IB last year is the Hail Mary, when it's Milroe's garbage performance for 58 minutes that even required it

Not a joke. After the Iron Bowl, Chris Doering on SEC Network said this. I wrote it down verbatim because I wanted to remember it for laughs:

"How many times have we said there's no one better with the ball in his hands than Jalen Milroe? I think the problem for Alabama's offense sometimes is that the other players are in awe of what he can do and just get caught watching him. But he can't do everything himself."

I had never heard a commentator say that a team's problems were caused by one player being so good that the others were just too in awe of him to execute.

That tool bag Jesse Palmer was hyping him up as a potential Heisman contender before the Oklahoma game and I just shook my head. I sat there thinking was he serious about that or just being hyperbolic to get people to tune into the game.

Against Georgia , Wisconsin, and LSU, Milroe was Heisman like.
Just about every other game he was garbage

No question about it. With any other quarterback Alabama taking snaps, we beat Auburn last year and this year by at least three touchdowns.

Mayhap so…but in exchange, we lose in the SECCG to UGA last year and we lose to UGA this year. UGA had a Jalen Milroe problem; unlike Oklahoma, Tennessee, & Michigan, UGA never figured out how to stop him from running…

Saban, literally the best coach in cfb history and a master at management, always let the team vote on captains after the season. DeBoer came in and changed it to where captains were voted on before the season. Milroe was voted captain. On top of that, you have the whole LANK brand that UA fully endorsed & promoted. All of that further entrenched 4 into the role even more and made it a much bigger deal if he were to get benched.

We did this to ourselves.

Not sure where you're getting that. Against Georgia last season, Milroe had 14 carries for 29 yards and zero touchdowns.

Saw him throw passes away and complete slants, upgrade.

Did he have 3 straight possessions where he turned ball over? I know he had a couple not sure if they were 3 in a row or led to 16 points.

That includes 4 sacks for -38 yards; on designed runs he had 10 carries for 67 yards…

Go back and watch the end of the game; when we had to run out the clock on the last possession, Milroe ran for two first downs. When UGA knew he was gonna run it, they couldn’t stop him and Bama ended the game with a mercy knee…
