I would take another year of NIL money even if not at UGA.

He has a lot of NFL tools but not sure he ever showed command in 2024.

I wish Kirby had given Gunner more playing time this season. I think we’ll see he’s as exceptional as he was in the second half when he played well and the O rallied around him. Pollock thinks so too and that’s good enough for us to have confidence in him.
Appreciate the great effort of Beck and wish him well.

DGD
Beck has potential to become a good NFL QB.
Hopefully he recovers well from his elbow surgery and gets on a good NFL team.
I think we could have won a NC this season with Beck at the helm with more reliable receivers But he did well with what he had to work with completing 64.73 % for 3485 yards and 28 touchdowns. /salute

Definition of a DGD. He has all the tools to have a long, successful career and I hope he tears it up.

I’m so glad he’s declaring for the draft. If not coming back another season with us it would’ve sucked to watch him play for another team. But that’s what college football has become. I hate it but it is what it is.
Good luck in the NFL and if he heals up I think he’ll have a very productive career. He’s got to be top 5 QB coming out right?
Sanders, Ewers, Ward, Beck, who else am I missing? Dart maybe

It’s probably good for us since he won’t be able to throw until the spring and having him return for another year would create some conflicts as we don’t know how long his recovery will be and how effective he’d be as a starter in 2025. If Stockton or any of the young QBs do really well having to compete in 2025 would be pretty damn awkward….especially if he ends up as a back up.

He must have an agent that has fished around and found out he has some takers.

It's hard to play the backups in the second half when you can't score any points in the first half.

This year's young players and backups definitely didn't get as much seasoning and game reps as other years.

So does this mean he quit on the team? I know he has to continue to recover but I can't imagine it wouldn't mean a lot to be on the sidelines coaching up Stockton and giving him pointers on things he might see from a veteran standpoint.

Agree. Except that Gunner outplayed Beck lights out in the SECC game.

Fantastic decision. It would be dumb to play another college year to improve draft order. The highest picks go to the worst team and often fail. Carson has a chance to go to a winner and enjoy continued development. I think that our Dawg will flourish and have a long career as a starter.

I can't wait for the draft to see how highly Beck is valued and where he ends up landing. I bet he goes higher than most people expect.
