Hey Rainman...may I point out that the same Tenn team that got trashed by the Buckeyes bent Bama over the table during the season. The same Bama that got prison-raped by a bad Oky team a few weeks ago. Who's to say if THEY would have been in the playoffs and played OSU last night the score might have been 63-0 and the playoff committee would have looked even more idiotic.

1). Twelve teams are too many. Should be the top six with the top two ranked teams receiving a bye.
2). Bowl system after the playoffs needs an overhaul to create more attractive games and viewing.
3). Transfer portal needs a change to offer more attractive bowl games and viewing.
4). NIL contracts structured through the bowl season/playoffs to limit player opting out.

What we knew going in 12 teams is absolutely stupid and too many. Letting Boise and ASU have byes due to conference champs is stupid.

Do you believe the best team wins every game or do upsets occur?
Alabama is a good team. Solid. But they lost to two bad teams and one decent team. Is Alabama one of the best 12 teams in the country? Probably.
But for Alabama fans to wear a win over Georgia as proof they belonged in the playoffs is laughable considering they lost to Oklahoma, Vanderbilt and Tennessee.

To put in the "best" teams over the "deserving" teams. Miami, S. Carolina, Bama, Kiffinator and others were better than IU and SMU.
