These playoffs suck, but Bama bad Ole Miss still did not deserve a bid.

I definitely didn't want this Bama team to be rewarded with the playoffs.
But two teams definitely deserve to be there:
Ole Miss
South Carolina
Not all wins and losses are equal. These two did very well in a tough conference.
No way anyone can say Indiana or SMU is better than either of these two teams unless you just don't know shite about football which is about 80% of this board.

I agree. "But we beat muh three ranked teamz". Well, don't lose to 2 unranked(Bama) and three unranked(Ole Miss) teams. If they lost to the teams they did both could've easily got blasted in the CFP. It is what it is.

Very talented group of players but not really a team. Didn't focus. Didn't seem like they wanted to do what it takes to be a championship team. In fact, they appeared to be throwing games at times.
Plus, at 8-2 with a crystal clear path to the playoffs and SECCG, didn't show up to play a bad Oklahoma team on the road. In my view, that's a fireable offense for a Bama coach to not have your team ready for that game. At the very least, I would consider DeBoer on the hot seat for sure.
I was hopeful the L.A.N.K. contingent would go straight to the TP but hasn't happened yet.

No many 11, 12 teams will EVER "deserve" a playoff bid. Its will almost always be highly subjective and controversial. But will also never really matter since none will win it. If i had my choice id had gone with OM over Bama based off the scores against UGA and USCe.

Saban was right. The strength of schedule has got be a major factor in the process. Or, you get the Indiana’s, SMU’s, etc…
Bama, USCe, Ole Miss and others would destroy these teams too.
