He understands Durkins defense. If Durkin approves I approve. Just keep recruiting hopefully like Aldridge

Not really.

Durkin loves dropping our Edges into coverage

Looks like an elite recruiter

Promoting from within worked so far with VKW, so hopefully this move does too. I’m guessing the players had input in this like they did with VKW?

Cool, they’ll all be looking for work this time next year

Seems odd to me. My guess is it’s for recruiting. Saw someone on another board mention that with the changes to coaching rules, wouldn't be surprised if someone with experience coaching the position is brought on as an analyst. Or Durkin plans on helping out there some.

Nothing has been good or true about the last two seasons.

Supposedly, they're going to shift some responsibilities around so he might be taking on LBs

Guess we'll see

Hoke is now saying Rushing to coach OLB/Star/Nickel positions with VKW picking up more responsibility across the DL.

Rushing is a great recruiter and has Texas ties.

I think Charles Kelly may be the next head coach at Jacksonville state so that move makes sense.

Seems like a good hire. Yalls boy Charles Kelly just used us as a stepping stone though.I'm sure after he falls on his face again he will be begging Auburn for a job again. Never wanted him and now you have to wonder how many transfer out with him leaving.

Well, you've been pretty adamant he didn't do anything for us recruiting wise, so logically i'd have to say not many

jt33 is today years old before he learned that position coaches don't stay places very long
