Just about half of the CFB teams had some pretty shitty schedules if you really look at it.

Wouldn’t matter in NFL terms. If they were in the same division in the NFL, SMU would be in with more wins. Dumb argument

Don’t guess we’ll ever know. SMU’s strength of schedule was 62 in ELS, 54 in GLS, and 42 in ALS.

1-0 vs ACC this year.

Regardless, a Vanderbilt that played an ACC schedule certainly wouldn’t be being viewed as a “bad loss” by Alabama.
