Tennessee
And Tennessee will end up playing all of them. Toughest path ever to win the title. Go Vols!

Nope. Blue chip ratio says the contenders are:
UGA
Texas
OSU
PSU
Clemson
Oregon
Notre Dame
Everyone else has below a 50% blue chip ratio, so can't win a title.

There is very little chance Tennessee gets past Ohio State, but if somehow that happens, the Vols are not beating Oregon.

Yeah that's not happening. We're good but not that good. There's a reason why OSU is favored by 9 points at Columbus. History shows that easy schedule is pretty much essential for a title. We have possibly the worst draw imaginable.

That's nice.
But no team has won a national title with less than 50% blue chips on their roster since recruiting rankings tarted. Clemson is way over than number. Tennessee is below it.

I think VOLS and Texas both match up well with Oregon. Oregon’s defense is doodoo, so a good defensive team that has a pulse on offense could present a problem.

Without a doubt. I'd like to see us win a game or two, but no way we go all the way. If we did we'd be the greatest national champ in the history of national champs.
But yeah, not gonna happen. And I'm ok with that. This season is just another step in the upcoming Heupel dynasty.

UGA doesn't have a team that relies on one player.
Beck was a 4-star and the 234th ranked recruit when he came out of HS.
Stockton, his backup, was a 4-star and the 110th ranked recruit when he came out.
Rashada, the third string, was a 4-star and the 44th ranked recruit when he came out.
Puglisi
Puglisi, the fourth string, was a 4-star and the 143rd ranked recruit when he came out.
UGA is losing experience with Beck going out. But they're fine with talent at the position. It's not ideal, but it's just another injury. Next man up.
