I really gave up on Bama’s chances once they lost to Oklahoma, so I’ve braced myself for Bama to be out. It is what it is. They have to find a way to not lose games that they should win comfortably.

It’s common sense IMO.
It’d be a different discussion IMO if SMU had 2 or 3 regular season losses. But they don’t.

Death of the “I just feel like they’re one of the best X teams” advantage. Plenty of downsides to this result but let’s be real this was always a cancer.
