Alabama vs SMU...

Everybody is looking at Alabama and SMU...but missing a bigger picture.
Clemson got destroyed by UGA/ Louisville (at home by the way), and they got beat by SC...The entire ACC was awful.
Miami has a better resume than SMU by the way.
BYU has a better resume than SMU by the way.
Where would Bama's losses (Oklahoma & Vandy) be ranked if they played in the ACC this year?
I say they would be Top 5 in the ACC! Vandy would probably be the best team honestly!

Doesn't matter. SMU has two losses and won't be punished for losing a conference championship game. Alabama has 3 losses and two awful losses.
The coaching staff is to blame for having the team completely unprepared to play against Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.
All Alabama had to do was beat a 5-5 team on the road and they were in.

This. If we get in fine, if we don’t get in fine, I don’t see where it would be a damnable injustice if we don’t get in because we didn’t take care of business. I’m at peace either way because it’s out of my control.

These stats should be clear as fricking day to anybody unbiased. They dont deserve immunity for a 13th game, when their other 12 games were loaded with shite teams.

I will take solace in the thought that I have seen Jalen Milroe play his last game in a Crimson jersey.

I will take solace in not watching Milroe play on the road at OSU in December.

This. People have been wanting to see what a fully prepared No. 15 working with the first offense as “The Man” can do, IMO we are about to see.

This is where you are wrong because they already punished Miami!

They're going to take the easy way out Joka. Prepare yourself for it.

We can complain because the SEC is much TOUGHER conference as a whole despite who you lose to.
Last time I checked Alabama was everybody's National Championship Game!
We still got one of the best wins in college football.

What we have to do is two things and fans wont like it.. One start canceling future non conference games and schedule all cupcakes. If SOS means nothing then why play?
Two Do what we can to end the SECCG. It hurt the two teams in it yesterday.
UGA may have lost their starting QB and punter, Texas had injuries too but without this game would have been conference champ with a bye. They lost seeding
We will be playing some riled up team in a bowl with half a team after opt outs. Not worth it .Poll the team see how many plan on sitting out a bowl then instead of playing some full strength bunch that will approach this like their Super Bowl and getting ambushed go to offseson and regroup.

Except Manual on Tuesday said after they released the rankings that night that SMU potentially if they lose could fall behind Alabama. Will they who knows and either way we had our chance.
And if I am going to blame the coaching staff for anything it was not creating a QB battle from the start or pulling Milroe from the games in question when it was apparent he was falling apart under the pressure.

Moving forward I think people will get used to whoever sneaks in the playoffs at 12 or 11 are purely just the luckily placed teams and the committee might be less likely to care about rooting out anyone who truly deserves it in favor of “it’s just whoever gets in” and that’s gonna be that.

Is the SEC tougher than the ACC Top to bottom?
Idk.
Cal beat barn.
Louisville beat UK
Miami beat UF.
Did the SEC get a victory over the ACC other than USC over Clemson? And uga over Clemson?

Thank you for adding. I didn't do any research. Those were just games I remembered off the top of my head.
