Was waiting for our table for our work dinner; sitting in the lobby at the Reed house in Chattanooga. In walks Ty, took me by surprise to see a Bama guy in where I live. He had a very subtle A on his shirt as he approached and I told my wife it was him. We pondered on whether asking for a picture as my son and nephews would have thought that was cool, but he was sitting with what appeared to be his grandparents. As I got up to walk to the table I had to walk past and said " Ty, he looked up and I said roll tide brother." He stood up and gave me knucks and a roll tide back. Just by observing the way he acted with his grandparents you can tell he is a good kid and a good ambassador. I will say, he is a bit smaller than I imagined. He was noticeably smaller than myself, but I am a bigger guy at 6'3 235. I know this isn't super relevant, but it isn't everyday that I run in to Bama players in Chattanooga; so I thought it was cool.

My man started this whole thread just to casually mention that he’s built like an SEC linebacker

Seems like a good kid.

We flew back from Los Angeles at 6 AM on the same flight with his parents and brother last year after the Rose Bowl. They had on Alabama stuff and bag tags with his # on it so Michigan and Alabama people walked up to them and said a few words. Seemed like very solid folks.

Heck no I got offered that at MTSU out of highschool. Much respect for those dudes. It was essentially, "Hey, we want you to come play scout team full time, get your body completely wrecked, and still pay for school." Not really the deal I was looking for haha.

Looks like you got Alzheimer's anyway so what's the big deal? Just joking. That is a cool story.

Frick that...foots should have asked him directly about Milroe's/LANK's hold over the team and why Ty isn't playing more.

We fans deserve to know the truth, by gawd.
