The CFB 12 teams are identical to what the BCS rankings would have picked.. the order is slightly different, but the teams are the same.

College Football has ALWAYS been a beauty contest.
Portal and NIL are different problems.

All of college football is a show.
It’s produced.
They will take whatever teams they want whether it’s the Rose Bowl in 1927, the BCS in 2004, or the CFP in 2024.
Bottom line is a committee takes who they want.
I’m ok with it.
