That's a stretch. They laid an egg against OU. I don't think an OT loss was an egg vs the eventual National Champ. A bad snap on 4th and goal and the subsequent action was the egg laid in the game. But, the game was very competitive

Strength of schedule matters, losing their QB who was the center of their entire offense matters, it's in the committee's criteria. They didn't do anything that went outside the framework of their selection process. You're just pissed because you're a South Carolina fan and y'all basically suck hind tit when it comes to football.
