Stole this from another site

In 2022, Tennessee beat Alabama in Knoxville by 3 points but were still ranked below them in the last few cfp rankings based on how they finished out the season. Alabama even lost another game at LSU by 1 (an LSU team that Tennessee beat by 33 ON THE ROAD) after they lost to Tennessee. But because Tennessee got blown out by both uga and our beloved gamecocks, they lowered them in the rankings below Bama. And that was the right decision because, even though Tennessee beat them at home in mid October and got out to an 8-0 start, Alabama was clearly the better team and finished the regular season going 3-1 in their last 4 games and only losing that one game by 1 point, while Tennessee finished the regular season going 2-2 and losing those 2 games by a combined 39 points.

This right here (along with them ranking us above LSU a few weeks ago) shows that the committee will and has ranked the better team ahead of another, regardless of if the other team won the head to head or not. So this needs to be what is getting shared and reposted the most because the committee needs to be reminded that they themselves have set this precedence, and if they don’t rank us above Ole Miss, Bama and Miami then they need to be called out for being the lazy hypocrites they are and be replaced by people who can see we are obviously the better team right now and would do the right thing.

You're gonna cause floods with all the tears you're shedding, Alex Murdaugh.

Compare their wins, not their losses.

Who did USC beat that was equivalent to Georgia?

Don’t TN have their QB hurt? That would make them a completely different team. I don’t remember exactly though.

SC had Connor Stallions computer. Nobody knew it at the time.

Ole Miss beat Ga & SC soundly so gamecocks are out IMO.

It’ll be funny that Clemson may get in after winning a conference South Carolina quit years ago over a basketball tournament.

They dropped them because Hooker was out.

If you take away all the nuance and the completely different playoff structure that year, this actually makes sense. But as it stands, 5 v 6 was for bowl placement and didn’t really matter. Here there are real consequences.

Did you also manage to steal the factoid that Tennessee's Heisman-candidate QB was knocked out with a season-ending injury? That might explain why the Committee ranked Tennessee below Alabama despite the head-to-head win. They were a different team in December compared to what they were in October.

This one time, I took my nieces to see Frozen 2 and I saw 2 dudes feeding popcorn to each other in theater.

And that was the gayest thing I'd ever seen until I read your post.

You lost h2h to the two teams directly in front of you. It would be completely insane to leapfrog USC ahead of both of them especially when both have been ranked ahead of SC all season.

The committee members change - different people feel differently.

Also you needed a 3rd and 16 heroic run to beat a Clemson team that is not good. Pipe down.

No, I'll compare losses instead. Who did USC lose to that's the equivalent to Kensucky?
