Could Texas Make History?

If Texas wins the SEC title, they will have won back-to-back different power conference titles. If this has been done then I couldn’t find an instance.
If SMU wins the ACC, it’ll be back-to-back different conference titles but not power conference since AAC is mid-level.
If SMU wins the ACC, it’ll be back-to-back different conference titles but not power conference since AAC is mid-level.

I saw something last night where it is possible for all P4 conferences to have their conference won by a new school this season
B1G- Oregon
B12- Arizona State
ACC- SMU
SEC- Texas

Those old conferences don't mean shite anymore. The current big 12 is equal to if not worse than AAC of a few years ago when it had memphis and Cincinnati winning 10 games a year.

Not only that, if it happens that would mean we won the inaugural SWC and Big 12 championships and also our first season in the SEC. (Impossible for us to win the first ever though)

They'd also be the first team not named Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU or Tennessee to win the SEC Championship since 1963.

Texas won the SWC in 1995 and then won the Big12 in 1996…
