Terrible

Here’s the scoop…

Defense played soft early, like they were afraid of the homerun. Allowed bama to get into the redzone easy hitting underneath stuff to an oddly shaped TE. Once in the redzone Milroe became a problem since DTQBs feast down there. They got us 4 TOs though.

Offense ran well early and then abandoned it once bama keyed in on the run. Thorne had a typical day by his standards, but unfortunately that included one guaranteed TD he missed and then he got Hunter murdered on a pass because he floated it. Might have been a TD if it’s a bullet. Once we got down 2 scores Freeze abandoned the run entirely.

Had a chance to get in it late after a TO. Had some big plays and then we called a double pass where Hunter was the passer and was expected to throw the ball 50 yards downfield and was picked off (shockingly).

Those are the high notes. With a good HC and QB we have a real chance at winning that one if everything else stayed the same.

Dumb play calls

We had 4 turnovers, were down by 14, Freeze runs a trick play inside plus territory that resulted in an INT that killed the comeback and bama ran out the clock after Thorne threw another pick
