I have to give credit to Illinois for their efficiency from the 3 point line. It was deflecting to make a run and they answer with them. It’s hard to overcome that when we can’t make them.

Other than that the team didn’t play as bad as the score reflects.

I was watching it with my grandson and when we got to single digits I told him they’ll hit a 3, and sure enough it happened. It was one of those games. I’m not quitting on this team.

I have a feeling that Muss will miss Arkansas worse than he imagined, by the time this is over...

and it may be reciprocated... I hope not, hope Cal shows a different side of his abilities along with his recruiting ability.

It seems like this team is missing what so many paper champions we’ve had before are missing. A glue guy. Like Justin Smith.

Illinois looked so much more skilled at the guard positions.

Arkansas has guys with the ability to hit threes, they are getting open looks, if they ever settle into the game they will hit them.

Underwood's teams largely live and die by the three on offense and he trys to have them play good enough defense to keep them in the game when the threes aren't falling.

Arkansas needs to do a better job of getting to the line and making free throws. Cal doesn't think FTs effect a game, but he would have won a NC at Memphis and countless other games if his players could make make free throws at even a 75% clip.

They game would have been different yesterday if Theiro could have made more of his misses since he as the only one getting to the line.

Bottom line is unacceptable for your 1-3 to shoot below 90% from the line and your 4-5 to shoot below 75% since these guys love the three now days.
