Over the past few years, this thing has just gotten out of hand. It's ridiculous.

Arizona State rushed the field after beating....BYU. BYU? Are you kidding me?

Nebraska rushed the field after beating Wisconsin. Wisconsin? Puulieeze. Nebraska rushing the field period??? Just because they qualified for a bowl game? What is a program with a proud winning tradition like Nebraska doing rushing the field after winning against anybody? Has the Nebraska identity fallen that far?

Oklahoma rushed the field after beating Alabama. Alabama? Get real. Just because the Sooners qualified for a bowl game? OU is another program with a proud winning tradition. What's wrong with y'all?

I guarantee you....you'll never see Alabama (or at least I've never seen them) fans rushing the field after beating any team. It's just not done.

Another program you won't see it happen at and that's at USC. Just watch. After this mediocre Trojans team beats Notre Dame (yes, it's going to happen!), you think Trojans fans will rush the field? It ain't gonna happen. Not between these two proud, storied, tradition-rich programs. If they do rush the field, I'm gonna personally beat their tails!

it's not just a sec problem
it's not going to stop

these fines are stupid

it's a simple solution, allow field storming once opponent leaves field, no coaches meeting at midfield, no players remaining on field

They should have thrown a flag or something on Arizona St fans rushing the field before the game was even over.

Fan participation should be allowed….it is good for CFB.. the more fan enthusiasm you get the better CFB is…..

It is just purple haired Karens with 10 cats that get upset that fans are having fun….

Next the Karens will want to cancel the Thursday night keggers on campus..

I vote for more fun, less regulation….life is short…

For the record I am into my 8th decade….

You have to have fans in the stands to really rush the field, so no you won’t see USC rush the field.

After Vanderbilt, Oklahoma and Tennessee, Alabama will have collected $300,000 in fines from the SEC bylaws for storming the field this season

Even if they did there are so few of them at the game that if ALL of them went onto the field you probably would not notice any difference.

OU has rushed the field 2 times in over 40 years …. It wasn’t about beating Bama and those of you who are not inside the program or fans wouldn’t understand what we have been thru this year . We are now down our best 6 wrs and 4 OL.

It's not because it's BYU.

They had back to back 3-9 seasons and with that win they are in the drivers seat to make the Big 12 CG for a berth in the playoffs, and its their last home game of the year. It's much more about that than who the opponent was.

Didn't they rush the field against Stanford when Coach O was the interim?

No. Someone might twist an ankle if they do that.

That was a lot of typing to get to the punchline. Much respect.

Its looks like they already rushed the field and these are the few fans who refused to participate.

LOL, Bama will wander the desert just like every program does at some point and then when they get a big win, they'll rush the same field. You act like Bama sheep are that different from other sheep.

Maybe they should invest that money into a QB coach so Milroe can have back to back games of quality play. He's not allowed to play LSU each week.
