The turnovers were the main reason Bama lost. We turned the ball over a lot this season and consequently lost a lot of games.

I thought you were a LSU fan. Now I am leaning towards Auburn.

OU kicked their asses but Milroe’s deficiencies as a passer were on full display. The two interceptions were terrible reads.

When was the lat time a Bama D gave up over 200 on the ground?

That is perplexing. Especially given our O-line is a hobbled mess starting 2 true freshmen

Bye week.

Alabama was Oklahoma’s Super Bowl. If Oklahoma didn’t have a bye week they likely would’ve gotten destroyed in their own house.

It helps when a team only needs 14 yards to score 14 points to start the 2nd half.

This loss is 100% on Milroe.

Perhaps. Think the team rallied around their coach, especially after his wife’s medical situation came to light. Combination of all that. Either way, it is safe to say nobody saw it coming.

Sooner defense played a complete game …. Totally dominated Bamas O line . Beamer said if OU gets up on you and makes you have to pass they are animals and have elite players all along the line. He said nfl players and they will be just don’t know how high they will get drafted. OU has stopped the run all year . I worry more against teams that can throw like LSU. OUs problem is turnovers when we don’t turn it over we are pretty good . We fumbled 6 times vs Missouri and lost 4 and lost by 1 score .
Let’s be honest outside of Williams Bama doesn’t have superstars all over the field . They have good players just not the ones they use to and there OL isn’t as good as years past. I do think there defense is decent .

Its funny to watch other fan bases being mad that Bama fans fully accept their team suck balls and they can't pick an internet fight with them because they aren't denying they got embarrassed by Oklahoma.

This loss is 100% on Milroe.

While this statement is true, I can't tell you how many times, all year, where we had that exact scenario and either didn't score at all or had to kick a FG. Even when playing the bad "scrimmage" teams

Bama fans are hung up on recruiting rankings but it’s obvious those rankings are not 100% fool proof.
Rankings have been overblown by clicks and subscriptions and any 2 star project suddenly becomes a 5 star with a Bama offer.

Actually not that long ago. I’m pretty sure we have a couple of times this season before this game.

You guys don’t seem to understand we haven’t had the kind of defense you think we have since Jeremy Pruitt was here.

I don't see any reasonable Bama fans blaming the refs for the loss, but that doesn't mean that the horrid calls shouldn't have at least SOME accountability.

Shitty officiating shouldn't be given a pass just because one doesn't believe it would have changed the outcome of the game.

Elite is a combination of talent and putting in the work. Derrick Henry, Julio Jones and all the other big names at Alabama over the past decade+ were all born with talent. They didn't become elite until they put the work in.

Players are now being paid for talent alone, and so they no longer care about being developed and being elite.

And this is why Saban retired. He directly said so under oath in front of congress. He went from getting and selling development as a player and person to after the Michigan game, all the players cared about was getting a raise and how much money they would get.

Bear preached the same things, talent alone is not enough.

So that's what we have. Talented players who don't put in the work required to be elite. You can see the flashes of talent, but they are unable to overcome the tough situations because they haven't earned it.

Everyone will be/is dealing with this crap, not just Alabama. It's not going to be easy for coaches to manage, especially with free agency.

Oklahoma watched film and executed. Alabama did not and they looked lost all night on both sides of the ball. The only player that showed any sense of importance or urgency for Alabama was Ryan Williams.
