The Auburn game ended up meaningless

A&M still controls its own destiny thanks to y’all OM & Bama dropping more games.
We go 2-0 vs tu and UGA were the champs and make the playoffs. We drop either and we don’t. A win over Auburn didn’t change that because the committee wasn’t putting in a 3 loss A&M (win over Aub & tu but loss to UGA) without a championship attached to it.

Whole lot of NIL money spent to have 4 losses on the year. You could beat Texas but a trip to SEC championship game and a loss to UGA and no playoff because of that Auburn loss. I think had you beat TX and loss to UGA you could still have had an Argument but not anymore.

Not meaningless at all. You could have lost to Texas and still made the playoffs. But I get what you are saying, y'all aren't knocked out by any means.
