Are southern teams ready for cold weather in December?

It doesn't get cold in the south.
When the playoff kicks off, how will an Ole Miss or Georgia fare in extreme cold weather with potential snowy conditions at a Big 10 stadium?
The days of SEC teams having the advantage playing in Florida or Louisiana are over and I love it.
For some teams, it will be like the NFL and playing a December game in Buffalo.
Playing in extreme cold is brutal if you’re not climatized for it. It will be interesting.

We could play in cleats filled with lava and run circles around teams like Indiana, Boise, BYU, Miami, etc

Indiana would boatrace the tigahs in baton rouge. That's a guarantee

Teams like Penn State and Ohio State will have the advantage. Pennsylvania can be brutal in December.

So you're backdoor confessing that Oklahoma is really not a southern team and doesn't belong in the SOUTHeastern Conference?

Good thing I don’t like the tigers.

People think about Indiana's brand and who they've played, but they've ignored the transfers and them blowing out virtually everyone. Their d-line is Ole Miss level and their secondary is very good in zone. They have a heisman dark horse at QB, 5 WR's that would start for many teams and a Saban disciple at HC

No DLine is on Ole Miss’s level if we’re being honest.

10th in sacks with 31, 1st in rushing yards allowed, 2nd in rushing yards per attempt, allowed 34 total yards before contact on the ground which is #1 in the nation by more than 125 yards

Try again, OU used to play November games in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, and Kansas City for the Big 12 championship.
Closest SEC team to Kansas cold is maybe Kentucky. Kansas and the wind chill is downright brutal.

Once players get on the field and start competing they warm up in a hurry. Look at the sidelines during games and see the steam coming out of their heads. Most play in short sleeves, especially linemen.
It’s cold for the other team as well.

It’s still cold in November in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Missouri.
You think SEC teams haven’t played in those conditions before?
ETA: it’s literally snowing here today.

It's snowing outside here in Lexington right now. Hope this helps

Is any SEC playoff program trending toward playing in any of those B12 venues? If so, which ones?
For that matter, which venues were you referring to, playoff-wise, where SEC programs may end-up playing?

I remember some cold arse iron bowls in past years. A particular 2000 game with sleet and rain in 20 degree weather. It was miserable.
But does the OP want people to think Big Ten teams are playing their November games in 10 feet of snow? That somehow good weather bowl games in January favor only the SEC teams?

If it's literally snowing, sure that's a factor. But just because it's cold? SEC players would probably prefer that after summer camp, fall camp, and the first 2/3rds of the season in the south. It will be a breath of fresh air, as it were.
These dudes have immaculate cardiovascular systems and are in peak physical condition. Cold weather will not affect them at all, except where noted above if it's snowy and icy, that would be different. Also, aren't half the players up north actually from the south?

So probably 40 or 50 degrees in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
And half of their roster is from warm weather states.
And they have to play in the same elements.
You act like you're going north to play a bunch of eskimos
