Where have I heard this before?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I guess. But it’s like their band is auditioning to become yell leaders. This is awkward for us and downright embarrassing for them.

quote:
"Beat the hell outta" — or BTHO for short — is the beginning of one of Texas A&M's most popular yells. On gamedays, Aggies end the phrase with the name of whichever school our football team is playing against. You may also hear "Beat the hell outta" in reference to other challenges that Aggies are eager to overcome, such as final exams.

I wasn’t actually talking a big game at all.. I was talking about the past.. I assume we will get to do it again one day.. I’m happy the game is coming back.. that’s all I was really saying.. the stupid shite we do to each other is fun when you are winning and it totally sucks when losing..

It's cute you think that's something new, lolz.
In fact it's been around so long (admittedly rarely used) that I'm not 100% certain ya'll didn't steal it from us.

A month ago, Aggy had the same reaction to the Texas-OU weekend thing where both schools' ROTC runs a football from the campus all the way to Dallas. "They have guys dressed up in military garb, they're copying us."

I remember the Longhorn Band in the 80s pausing middstep in unison and saying, "Beat the hell outta OU." I am sure they did it generations before that.
Aggie thinks they invented saying "beat the hell" and "12th man" and all kinds of commonly used terms. They didn't.
These are the kinds of things that are important to a fanbase that has never seen a national title in their lifetimes.
I am objective. Texas could lose to A&M. Our QB has not been the same since his injury. We have a sound defense and a limited offense because of Ewers. If A&M does win, it will be the biggest win any aggies have ever seen. A regular season home game is their apex.

Draggies sing their War Hymm every game.
Half of the lyrics are about the Longhorns.
Obsessed.

Pooor 'sips.
Their only original idea was a dildo parade. Now they are known world wide as the only university in history to pass out free dildos to their freshman and then having a parade to celebrate.
poor t'sips

Back in the day, the purpose of A&M was to learn to farm, fix the tractor, and go fight our wars.
The purpose of Texas was to become doctors, lawyers, businessmen, engineers, architects, etc.
So the agrarian school called Texas the "tea sippers". Aka, t-sips.

Fast forward to 2024, and A&M hosts the largest most successful drag show on their campus.
Times have changed!

Are you seriously claiming trademark on BTHO? That's pretty standard pep rally language, fool.

Of course. A&M was intending it as an insult. We live in Texas, of course tea sipper would be an insult.
