I need to apologize to Georgia for calling them trashy when LSU is setting the bar.
Come on over to the Swamp this weekend and our hippies will show you how to mellow out to some Tom Petty even when your team sucks. Probably pass you some Gainesville Green if you're behaving well.

15 yard unsportsmanlike like conduct penalties + 5 yard delay of game would be more effective than a quarter million fine.

LSU needs to fire their replay video person. Had multiple people at the game say the replay cut off before the facemask so they all thought it didnt happen.
It was clear as day on tv.
Has to be the same replay person that didnt show a single replay the entire ole miss game.

There were only 2 plays where I thought there were bad calls that didn't go LSU's way and neither impacted the game all that much. I don't get the animosity about the officiating in that game. You can't blame anyone but yourselves when you get beat that bad.

Yep. Imagine if the fans who threw the items cost their teams the game because of those penalties. They would need armed escorts out of the stadium

Considering the crew, the officiating was much better than what I expected.
Not perfect, but not terrible either for a change.
That said, a lot of it probably had to do with Alabama changing how it calls plays and stuff in away stadiums. Normally we seem rattled by the crowd this year in a very bad way, leading to many false starts and so on. And those aren't even bad calls, it just adds to the overall numbers.
I don't know what they changed, since they only mentioned they changed it, but it seemed to have worked. They didn't seem to be affected by the crowd noise at all. I was expecting to see many issues.

Hell, I remember, back in the 70s, standing behind some "ole boys" hauling a big fishing cooler full of beer right thru the gate, and the attendants stepping back to help 'em get in!!

Yea, LSU is gonna drink, doesn’t matter, they wake up and brush their teeth with miller lite. I have LSU friends, I can’t keep up, just try to drink 1 to their 4.
